Warm-Up-Programme

Ruhrpott für Europa and Manifesta 16 Ruhr invite young people aged 16 to 23 to take part in the free workshop Real Talk: Loneliness & Democracy.

Together, participants will explore how loneliness affects our lives and our society, and what we can do about it. In small groups, through scenarios and creative methods, they will exchange ideas, gain new perspectives and develop practical approaches for greater solidarity and a respectful, democratic coexistence in everyday life.

Ruhrpott für Europa is a multi-award-winning, non-partisan initiative in the Ruhr Area. Through its peer-to-peer approach, it brings together young people who are often not reached by traditional forms of civic education. The initiative creates open spaces for exchange on equal terms and strengthens self-efficacy around topics such as Europe, loneliness and migration society.

Registration is required: Register here.
